not for Weimaraners? velcro problem Jan 07, 2010
Like the other reviewer, I have a weimaraner. Overall, i believe i ordered correct size, but opening for the leash rides several inches behind dog's collar. So, i can't use the hole. Velcro at neck has popped open several times (only been used about 10 times so far) and i don't think it's due to size problem but coat slides too far back and maybe puts pressure on neck velcro. Otherwise, coat is as described and price good. Delivery was timely.

Nice jacket but doesn't quite work for our dog Jan 04, 2010
Overall the dog jacket is nice, but the velcro is definetly not a strong one so we had to sew on a heavy duty one on top of the other. Unfortunately this jacket is not really working for our dog. He is a weimaraner and weighs about 60lbs when I measured him he was a size XLG but that is more for his length and not the overall size he is muscular and lean so this just slides around on him. So it is more of a bother than is worth it. I will just have to keep looking or modifiying this jacket.

This is a great coat! It's a lot nicer than I thought it would be based on the picture and the price. It was a real nice surprise. It has a slot at the top for the collar and the fabric is nice. Hides dirt and doesn't show the fur that's stuck to it as much as some other dog clothes.
