I HIGHLY recommend this product! I ordered this on a whim (to get a pet supply order over $50 for free shipping!) and it wound up being worth every penny. I am completely squeamish when it comes to bugs or blood...and a full tick is a horrible combination of both! Last time my dog had a tick, I took her to the vet and had to shell out big bucks to have it removed. This time at 9 PM, I had no other choice than to try my new Tick Key...it worked awesome! Tick came right off, and I did NOT have to touch it! So glad I ordered it!

When I read about this simple tool I knew that it was a stroke of genius that has eluded Vet Clinics. I have used similar shaped tools and they are very effective - the problem is that when you need them they are at home in a drawer or in your car (somewhere). This tool is made to attach to your dogs collar with his/her other tags. You always know where it is and it is always handy. Great idea! Why does not every Veterinarian Clinic provide these? The price is right; the product works as described (I used mine 2 days after it arrived and removed a tic totally intact from my dog); it is metal and sturdy, so will last a long time. This is a perfect product. Buy one for yourself and one for each person you know who has a dog: good stocking stuffer.

Get it if you are around winderness areas. I use this on the dogs and humans. It pulls the tick out from under his blood sucking head and gets the feeding tube as well. Works great and is easy to access on your key chain!

Low tech - high results May 30, 2009
We live in the middle of 25 acres of woods and ticks are a constant problem for us and our cats. This is a low tech solution that really works. No moving parts, no micro-chips, no internal combustion machine -- all that means there is nothing to break. Just slip the big edge of the hole over the tick and slowly remove.

This product is amazing. It's the easiest way to get ticks off of your dog or pet. The only problem you'll have now is getting them to stay still!
